🃏 What is a card break?

A card break is a group opening of trading cards. We buy the box, split it into spots, and you buy a spot. Then we rip the whole lot live on stream and you watch your cards get pulled in real time.

So how do card breaks work in practice? Say a box has 12 teams in it. We sell 12 spots, one per team. You buy Arsenal, someone else buys Chelsea, and every card that comes out of that box goes to whoever owns the team on it. Everyone's in it together, which is why people call them group breaks.

It's the cheapest way into hobby boxes that cost hundreds of quid. You pay for a slice, you get the cards from that slice, and you don't have to buy a whole box to chase one player.

🎁 What you get

IF your spot pulls, you get everything from it except base cards. Base cards from every spot are donated to our charity partner, Goals4Girls. A pull is never guaranteed. That's the nature of any break. But whatever your spot does pull is yours to keep.

Everything except base means exactly that: inserts, parallels, numbered cards, autos, the lot. The base goes to Goals4Girls, who get more girls into football. So even a quiet spot does some good.

⚖️ Is it fair?

Yes, and you don't have to take our word for it.

PYT and PYP are simple. You picked the team or player, the cards come out on camera, they're yours. There's nothing to rig.

Random and filler breaks are decided by the Dino Derby. A herd of pixel dinos races live on stream, and the finishing order comes from a public random number that nobody controls, us included. It doesn't even exist until the race is running, so it can't be predicted, picked or planned around.

❓ FAQ

Is a hit guaranteed?
No. A break is a box of sealed packs and nobody knows what's inside, us included. IF your spot pulls, everything except base is yours. If it doesn't, that's the gamble every break carries. We'd rather say that up front than pretend otherwise.

PYT vs PYP vs Random, what's the difference?
PYT: you buy a team. PYP: you buy a player. Random: everyone pays the same and the Dino Derby decides who gets what. Filler spots are the Random version of the last few spots in a nearly full break.

When do my cards ship?
After the break we sort every pile, get every card sleeved and toploaded, and email you a photo. Then your parcel goes out in the next shipping window, the 1st or 3rd Monday of the month. From break day you're usually looking at one to three weeks. Full details on How We Ship.

Can I combine breaks into one shipment?
Yep, automatically. Pay postage once, and anything else you buy while we're still holding your cards joins the same parcel for free. Your sorting email has a Hold My Order button if you want to keep stacking.

How do I know what I won?
Watch the stream, then check the photo in your sorting email. For Random and filler breaks, your result is also written onto your order notes automatically.
