How Filler Spots Work
How Filler Spots Work
Grab a numbered spot in a nearly sold-out break — your spot is decided live, at random, by the Dino Derby.
What is a filler spot?
When a break is nearly sold out, we may offer the last remaining spots as numbered filler spots. Instead of choosing a specific team or player, you purchase a number — that number is your position in the Dino Derby race.
How your number gets its spot
Before the break starts, we run a live race on stream — the Dino Derby — and your number is your position in it.
Pick Spot 4 → whatever team or player finishes 4th in the race is your spot in the break.
Pick Spot 1 → whatever team or player finishes 1st is your spot in the break.
There are always exactly as many spots as there are numbers, so every number lands one and nobody misses out. It all happens live and in public on stream, so you watch your number get its spot in real time.
The Dino Derby
The Dino Derby is a live pixel-dino race on stream: one dino per number, all sprinting across the screen in various football kits! Hop on the Twitch stream to cheer your dino home.
What you get
IF your allocated spot pulls, you get everything from it except base cards. Base cards from every spot are donated to our charity partner, Goals4Girls. A pull is never guaranteed — that's the nature of any break — but whatever your spot does pull is yours to keep.
Shipping
Your cards are sleeved, toploaded, and shipped in the next shipping window, bundled together with anything else you've bought from us. Filler spots can't be cancelled or refunded once purchased.
