📦 What's in Topps Chrome Sapphire UWCL 2022/23
Topps Chrome Sapphire UWCL 2022/23 is the Sapphire edition of the 2022/23 women's Champions League Chrome set, and a separate product from it. It was the first time the UWCL Chrome got the Sapphire treatment, in Topps' own words, and it sold as an online exclusive. The 100-card base matches up with the regular Chrome's player list, with blue borders and the Sapphire pattern running through the background.
Every parallel is numbered /99 or lower: Green /99, Gold /50, Orange /25, Purple /15, Red /5 and the Padparadscha 1/1, landing two per box. Five base cards also have Image Variations, at about one per box. On top sit Queens of Football, carried over from Chrome, and Sapphire Selections, the set built for this product.
The signed side is tiny: six Sapphire Selections Autographs, base versions numbered to 25, found in lucky boxes rather than guaranteed. Boxes were 8 packs of 4 cards. 🔥 Our take: the chases
Alexia Putellas owns the checklist: base, an Image Variation, Queens of Football, Sapphire Selections and its autograph, five card types in a six-auto product. Georgia Stanway and Ada Hegerberg follow on four apiece, both with an Image Variation and a signed Selection of their own.
Four of the six signers are rookies here: Hegerberg, Renard, Stanway and Blackstenius all carry the RC shield on a signed card numbered to 25 at most. With 42 rookie tags across the base, the Sapphire RCs of the game's biggest names are the set's legacy, and Greggi and Wilms are Future Stars and rookies at once.
For pure rarity, the base Padparadscha 1/1 falls 1:778 packs and the Image Variation version 1:15,080, the longest odds in the product. The signed Superfractor 1/1s at 1:12,567 are the cards the set is remembered for.

8 packs of 4 cards. Per box that meant two Queens of Football, one Image Variation and two numbered parallels. Autographs were never guaranteed: Topps' own page promised 'Rare Sapphire Selections Autographs in lucky boxes'.
How is Sapphire different from regular Topps Chrome UWCL 2022/23?
It's a separate, online-exclusive product built on the same 100-player base. Every card gets the Sapphire finish, every parallel is numbered /99 or lower, the five Image Variations and the Sapphire Selections insert are its own, and there are only six autographs. The regular Chrome has its own checklist: Topps Chrome UWCL 2022/23.
Was this the first Topps Chrome Sapphire UWCL set?
Yes. Topps' own product page says the UWCL Chrome 'receives the sapphire treatment for the first time' with this 2022/23 edition.
What are the rarest cards in the set?
The Padparadscha 1/1s top the base, Image Variation and Queens of Football rainbows; Sapphire Selections and the autographs top out at Superfractor 1/1s instead. By odds the Image Variation Padparadscha (1:15,080) and the autograph Superfractors (1:12,567) are the longest pulls.
Can I still buy boxes of Topps Chrome Sapphire UWCL 2022/23?
